Best Places To Park for Grizzlies and Tigers Basketball Games

BEST AND MOST CONVENIENT (AND MOST EXPENSIVE)

A parking pass for the parking garage inside the FedEx Forum is always the ideal place to park, but it might cost you a pretty penny.

NEXT BEST AND MOST CONVENIENT (AND MOST EXPENSIVE)

The parking garage attached to the Westin across the street from the FedEx Forum is by far the best and most convenient place to park. Beware: as of the 2021-22 playoffs, spots were $30 a piece.

MOST ADVENTUROUS AND FUN (ESPECIALLY FOR VISITORS)

Park for cheap in the S. Main Arts District (the epicenter being GE Patterson and S. Main) and take the trolley down to the top of Beale Street. Then stroll down Beale St. to the FexEx Forum. When you get back, you can grab a soul burger and a beer at Earnestine and Hazel’s, or you can grab a fancy cocktail at Eight and Sand (where you might run into an actual player).

CHEAPEST (YET STILL CONVENIENT)

If you get to the game early enough, then you can park for free on Gayoso Avenue (the little stretch between Beale St. and Union Ave., 4th St. and Danny Thomas Blvd.). Be sure to lock your car and walk in pairs—but the walk is only a couple blocks.

IN A RUSH (AND MONEY DOESN’T MATTER)

There are almost always spots in the parking lots on 4th St. (SP+ Parking and Parkway East and West Lots), but these spots are not cheap nor well-secured.

OTHER (MODERATELY PRICED) OPTIONS:

There are numerous private parking lots just east of the FedEx Forum along Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. These spots range from $10-20, depending upon proximity to the FedEx Forum, and the walks are short to moderate.
